
SeoulScape Bistro is located at The Strand, Kota Damansara, quite hard to find this restaurant though, as it is located at the second floor. The stairs to the bistro is very well decorated. It was a voucher with Suyuk & rice and Kimchi Stew with 3 side dishes. Suyuk-It is basically stir fried pork chunk, with the skin. Very flavorful an tender. It is well marinated and but slightly under season, I do prefer it to be a bit salty instead of the strong plain pork flavor. It is eaten with onion slice, and lettuce. Some of the pork skin are not well cleaned, it still have hair attached to it. I like the chewy texture of the skin. Wrapped it with the lettuce, with onion, and the sauce, slightly sweet and crunchy onion, hot spicy and tangy sauce really bright up this dish. Kim Chi Stew- This is really my favorite. I like the thick hot spicy and little sourish soup. There are some chunk of meat and kimchi inside the soup. It is best to eat it with the rice. Side Dishes- a very simple pan fried potato, a mushroom, and peanut with anchovies. SImple dish with simple flavor, I like it, especially the pan fried mushroom and peanut. Dessert- I was pretty disappointed with the dessert, as according to the voucher, it supposed to be an ice cream, but what was served was a cup of honeystar, nata de coco and chocolate syrup with some foam-like thingy. I have no idea what it is.
