Taking the LRT really is not my kind of thing. The swinging and wobbling puts me to nausea and if possible I would like to avoid it. The last time I took the LRT was somewhat not too bad, given my experience with the penyet stall my friend later took me. Located at the Dang Wangi, and not too easy to find, but it is not too far from the Dnag Wangi LRT station. The prices of the penyet here is unbelievably cheap and comes with soup and my favourite tempeh. There were four of us so we decided to order a few for sharing. We asked to have our rice served separately cause few of us did not want any rice. The chili was not as fantastic as it looks and as I imagined when it was served, but it is certainly appetizing to go with the vegetable and the penyet dish. We had chicken and fish and the we paid less than RM 10 per pax inclusive of several drinks when we sat and talk after meal. It was definitely a good dinner given the price that we paid , and not to mention the awesome company during dinner. Food is always best shared and is obviously even better when sharing with a bunch of your closest and dearest friends.
