Sumo Onigiri is a Japan Restaurant which is served rice ball. It is the only Malaysia onigiri restaurant that served original Japanese onigiri. Their head of chefs are well trained by Japanese onigiri master. Now they have two branch, Damansata Utama & Kuchai Lama. I go to Damansata Utama branch to redeem my taste voucher. It is easy to find the shop, the same row with the Starbuck. It is also OK to find a parking on weekend. Their shop size is only half of the general shop. But I don't feel crowded there. The environment is clean, bright and lovely. Their service is very nice. Because there are so many kinds of rice balls, I don't know how to choose suddenly. The waiter recommend few flavors of rice balls. At last I choose Yaki Salmon. The Yaki Salmon Set is serves with Yaki Salmon rice ball with wasabi sauce, mashed potatoes, miso soup and Chawan Mushi. The rice ball is awesome! The rice ball tastes very fragrant. The salmon & wasabi sauce is a perfect combination! I also love their mashed potatoes. It tastes smooth and sweet. I'm so lucky that I don't miss the taste voucher for Sumo Onigiri. Because it is really delicious!!! This is the best one Japanese rice ball I have tried.
