Mango Roll | JoinMe - Food Review Malaysia

Mango Roll

As if the appetite has grown bigger, we decided to head over to Puchong area for some late night dessert all the way from Bangsar after dinner at Anjappar, haha. Yeah, you heard it right! Luckily the driver is somebody else :D So we came for the famous yummy durian dessert, Fire Ball Durian. It looks like some mini fried savory balls, but hidden deep within is the fragrant durian paste. The pungent smell of the King of the fruit is fine with me, but I think this round, the paste is of meagre standard. If only it could be much stronger, then it’s better! We wanted to try the Durian Roll, which is the cold version of Fire Ball Durian, but are told sold out. Therefore, we resort to Mango Roll instead. Actually I kind of enjoy the mild sourness of the mango paste rolled within a fried flour crepe. It has some sweetness amongst the citrusy of the fruit. When this cold zesty paste melts with the light crepe skin on your taste bud, all I could say is marvelous! :D
