Lai Thai Market is another hidden gems at the famous Happy Mansion SS17, PJ. Lai Thai is operated by Thai people and able to attract a lot of eatery with their very traditional Thai fares. Even though the shop is small, it is cleaner and cozy then expected. The weather is so hot lately but I still decided to give it a try, So I patrolling Lai Thai in one sunny Saturday and YESS its really bring back the memory of my Bangkok trip. Hot food under Hot weather HAHA. I order the Spicy wide rice noodle (kuay teow). The small bowl filled with fresh herbs and bean sprouts, pork balls, pork liver, kangkung and chopped spring onions. I even spices it up with the famous Thai Chili Flakes...delicious. We also order the Som Tum (Thai Raw Papaya Salad) for sharing. It was prepared on the spot with fresh ingredients. Spicier than the usual version till burning my stomach >..<" he Mango sticky rice is pre-packed. The Mango is too sweet to eat alone but go very well with the tasteless sticky rice. This version of Mango Sticky Rice comes together with one Yellowish flakes which I not so sure what is it. Anywhere the flakes bring out another taste of this Thai famous sweeties, so delicious! Here also got mini market section which you can get the Thai grocery.
