Soft shell Crab Spaghetti | JoinMe - Food Review Malaysia

Soft shell Crab Spaghetti

This is one very nice and cosy restaurant selling western dish and with very nice decorations around. There are even liquors and wines selling in the restaurant at night. I had myself some pasta, which is the soft shell crab spaghetti!! I love crab and im so excited when i see crab appears on the menu. It is actually spaghetti cooked with basil leaves and carbonara sauce with whole fried soft shell crab on top. My friend ordered the carbonara spaghetti, which topped with chicken ham slice, cheese , mushroom and black pepper. He tried mine and say that my spaghetti taste better. However, it taste a little greasy for me to have it whole plate of such big portion of spaghetti. The price rate for the pasta is around RM 20 . There were cakes and dessert as well after you had your meals.

Bacon and scramble egg Waffle

My friend suggested this cool place to me and we had a wonderful secondary school gathering at here. Its a place with unique handmade decorations. The wall are painted in a creative ways and there was pillow over the chairs so that we girls could have our'pillow talk' while enjoying some drinks and food here. The choices of food over here is limited. There are only few choice of spaghetti and waffle to choose from. I had myself something special from the menu, which is the bacon with scramble egg waffle. Its a creative combination between bacon and waffle. It sounds weird, but taste delicious. The waffle is very crunchy, taste salty and savory with crispy bacon and scramble egg. Best even without any sauce added on it. Its a good place to chit chat with friends when you have no idea where to go at night.

Chicken kara-ake, Tuna, fresh salmon

Sumo Onigiri Rice Ball was established in Malaysia in 2012 which is a company specialises in developing rice products. Rice Ball are one of its main products. Sumo Onigiri open by a boss who little brother stay at Japan more than 20 years and have a concept to open Sumo Onigiri. It is a Japanese style restaurant and just a half shop and share with a Taiwan drink shop. It is located same road with Starbucks and it is significant to recognize due to their big signboard. The staff is very friendly as he willing to explain their food one by one even though the restaurant is full with customer. You can require what kind of food you wan to try and ask the staff recommend according to your favor. I had order a Sumo set S2 which included Fresh salmon, idako, ebiko, a hot rice, soup and a egg soup. It costs only RM9.80 without any service or government charge. Although the set look like a bit not enough, however it actually very full. I love the ebiko and idako, both also fresh and great in taste.

fried dumplings, fried roll sweet tart, fried carrot cake | JoinMe - Food Review Malaysia

fried dumplings, fried roll sweet tart, fried carrot cake

My friend brought me to this place for some dim sum as supper since we cant think of anything else to eat at this late night. This restaurant opened from early morning until late midnight and there is lots of seats available in the restaurant. A must try dim sum recommended for this restaurant is the chicken nest bun, which named is 'gai wo bao' in cantonese. I 'd seen this special dim sum selling in Penang once but this is the restaurant that actually first invented the chicken nest bun. It is actually a big soft bun with fillings of 'lo mai kai' glutinuous rice and chicken inside. Best served when its hot. I can see a lot of people came here just to 'dapao' the signature chicken nest bun. We had some other dim sum in the restaurant, like fried carrot cake, fried prawns dumpling and fried sweet roll tart. My personal favourite is the fried sweet roll, which has a soft and smooth texture of corn fillings with crispy external. There is sweet sauce available on the table to mix with the dim sum beside chili sauce. A good place to 'yam cha' at anytime, even at midnight!

Iced Citron Tea | JoinMe - Food Review Malaysia

Iced Citron Tea

1. Iced Citron Tea Oftentimes, I would look at the price before I place an order, especially when I dine in at places normally meant for special occasions. The night was rather different than usual. I picked Iced Citron Tea that cost me freaking RM6.90 although I was very clear that I could make one of my own at home. If by any chance I could return to the place again one day, I would love to try out their Citron Dubu and Dubu Dubu Bingsu because desserts made with Korean tofu seem unique. 2. Iced Peach Tea Iced Peach Tea at RM6.90? Their peach must be planted in somewhere special. My boyfriend and Farah claimed that it was good though. 3. Spicy Toppokki At Dubu Dubu SEOUL Food, they serve toppokki, the Korean rice cakes, with a choice of spicy sauce or cheese. Typically, I would prefer the latter one because you could hardly find Cheese Toppokki being served at all Korean restaurants in Malaysia. Still, we ended up getting ourselves a plate of Spicy Toppokki to share instead, and I would leave the Cheese Toppokki for my next visit. 4. Honey Garlic Bulgogi Beef Set My boyfriend has always loved Korean marinated beef for the special sauce they commonly use. Thus, he had his Honey Garlic Bulgogi Beef Set, which the meat was grilled and infused with their Dubu Dubu honey garlic sauce, served together with a bowl of black rice and three side dishes, at RM20.90. You may always opt for chicken depending on your preference, and that's part of my plan! 5. Soondubu Jigae Set with Chicken Farah and I coincidently chose Soondubu Jigae Set with Chicken as our meal of the night, which it was literally a mixture of chicken and silky smooth tofu cooked in hearty broth to extract its wholesome flavors, served piping hot and steaming with fabulous aromas. Similarly, it came with a bowl of black rice and three side dishes. At RM15.90 per set, I thought it's still within the acceptable range. My overall dining experience with Dubu Dubu SEOUL Food was really good, except that the staffs should be more attentive to the guests and well-trained. It's quite ridiculous when the staff walked away right after we asked for bill, instead of informing us about what we should do, merely because we had to pay at the counter. Nonetheless, I will be sure to return to any outlets of Dubu Dubu SEOUL Food again for more interesting delicacies. Wait for me!

Espresso | JoinMe - Food Review Malaysia

Espresso

Apparently, this is how the process goes. Pick your most preferred flavor, choose between agepan and cup, pay for your dessert, and that's it. For your information, agepan is literally bun shaped like a cone, and deep fried with boiling oil upon ordering to form a crispy outer layer for better taste between hot and cold. I didn't like the idea though, because our agepan had rather strange taste, probably due to the oil used repeatedly. Still, I can't deny the fact that serving an ice-cream in such a way helps to provide convenience to the customers, allowing them to eat while they walk around the mall. You're of course allowed to try the different flavors of ice-cream they have to offer. I chose Espresso and my boyfriend selected his favorite Coconut. Personally, the Espresso tasted just like any other coffee-based ice-cream that was a little too sweet for my liking. With such quality, it could have cost so much lesser than the amount we paid. Conversely, the Coconut was awesome, to the extent that I nearly wanted to throw mine into the dustbin and snatch his away. :P If I were to visit the same place again, which is quite unlikely that I ever would, I am sure I will not opt for agepan anymore. It tasted weird, and it’s extremely oily. It's a bread or a bun that didn't taste like one. Would I ever go for their ice-cream again? Hm, let's see.

Roti Telur Cheese | JoinMe - Food Review Malaysia

Roti Telur Cheese

1. Roti Telur Cheese I usually visit Steven's Corner when I stay overnight at my boyfriend's house, which also means I rarely drop by the restaurant. Yet, I will always be sure to return for their Roti Telur Cheese without having to go through their menu to try something else. It is literally Roti Canai, a type of Indian-influenced flat bread famous in Malaysia, filled with egg and cheese, giving you a springy flavor as you chew a mouthful of it. Om nom nom! 2. Cheese Naan My boyfriend preferred to have something heavier that night, as he was in hunger. Thus, he ordered Cheese Naan. For your information, naan is quite similar to Roti Canai, but they don't look the same. Naan is a leavened, oven-baked flat bread usually cooked in a tandoor, whereas Roti Canai is often flattened, oiled, folded, and fried on a pan. Needless to say, his Cheese Naan was just as finger licking good as it seems from the picture above. Every dinner at Steven's Corner that I had was extremely sinful indeed, for the amount of oil I had consumed and the fact that I tended to go to bed before digestion. Like I said previously, I was never brought to the restaurant during the day! Albeit so, I would highly recommend you to order Roti Telur Cheese should you drop by Steven's Corner at OUG, Old Klang Road one day. It's definitely worth a try!

Grass Jelly Milk Tea

1. Grass Jelly Milk Tea Unless I need some cold drink to calm myself, I wouldn't prefer to have their Grass Jelly Milk Tea. It tasted like a cup of drink filled with flavoring essence. 2. Braised Sauce Rice with Braised Egg and Braised Taufu Each of us had a bowl of Braised Sauce Rice as usual, and added Braised Egg and Braised Taufu at RM3.00 in total. The first bite had indeed helped to make a life changing decision ever since; I will be sure to order all three of them every single time! 3. Hot Crispy Chicken and Taiwanese Salted Chicken Don preferred their Hot Crispy Chicken while I opted for Taiwanese Salted Chicken to save hassles. Both of them came with soft, tender, and juicy chicken meat covered with crispy outer layer, but cooked in different ways. They're definitely finger licking good! :D Well, not to worry. The Hot Crispy Chicken wasn't too troublesome to be eaten, in fact. YOU MUST TRY!

1. Mixed Rice Generally, it was good, and the price was definitely a killer. I would, nevertheless, prefer the eggplants to be cooked and soaked together with the vegetable curry instead of having them separated, making them tasteless. The fried bun was just something pricey that I took for Don, at RM1.20 each if I am not mistaken.

Vegetarian Hot and Spicy Pan Mee (Dry) | JoinMe - Food Review Malaysia

Vegetarian Hot and Spicy Pan Mee (Dry)

1. Vegetarian Hot and Spicy Pan Mee (Dry) I have only visited this particular outlet at Taylor's University for not more than five times, to be frank, and another outlet located somewhere within the country for merely once. I have tried their Creations Minced Pork Pan Mee, House Specialty Hot and Spicy Pan Mee (Dry), and Sichuan Piquant Pan Mee (less spicy), so I decided to challenge myself with their Vegetarian Hot and Spicy Pan Mee (Dry). I ended up eating it regretfully. I was about to be able to spout some flame and lava, I swear! My overall experience with their Pan Mee was quite ordinary. In fact, I tend to take this restaurant as a backup, in case my original plan is somehow ruined. 2. Longan Fresh Milk This is something that I would never want to order ever again. I was craving for a cup of Soya Bean with Longan, and I mistook this cup of Longan Fresh Milk as what I thought it was. It was not too bad as a cup of milk, but I never like milk, that's why. Apart from Pan Mee, Face to Face Noodles House sells Sarawak noodles, rice noodles, rice, side orders, breads, and desserts, and each of them come with various choices. As I review about the restaurant, I have come to realize that Face to Face Noodles House also specializes in the local fare with excellent fusion of Sarawak's homemade noodles, widely known as "Kolok Mee". I should give it a good try soon!

Their breads and cakes are just like general bakery. The most special thing is that they provide a nice place to let customers enjoy their cakes or breads. The environment is very cozy and lovely. I love their decorations. It's a good place to have tea time with friends! I just try the Rocky Bun. I regard it as Po Lo Bao. It tastes nice. The bread is soft and there is butter inside the bread. It smells good, and the surface of the bread is a little crisp. It's hard to parking nearby. Many people do the double parking there. I will go to try their other kinds of bread next time.

Kek Lok Si is one of the most famous 'must see' tourist destination located at Crane Hill, Air Itam. At the foot of the hill, the most popular 'must try' Laksa stall can be seen at the Air Itam wet market road side. This Laksa stall is the best in Penang and has gained very good responds from tourists as well as local people. The Laksa here is very tasty with flavorful soup broth and fresh ingredients like mackerel fish, shredded cucumber, pineapple, onion, lemongrass, mint leaves, chili, ginger and prawn paste. Texture of the laksa noodles was chewy and tasty. The laksa soup was really hot and spicy. Recommended for a try.

I always love the design.... @ Garden Lifestyle Store and Cafe...... It always make me feels cosy and comfortable, Even the moment before I step into the cafe!~ Lots of greenery..... With luxury feelings!~ Having my first spoon of pumpkin soup!~ My little baby prince love it so much!~ Ice Lemon Tea...... Just nice to drink, Not too sour!~ My mum love this so much!~ Fried Rice with Black Pepper Chicken.... My little princess eat all the chicken... Quite surprisingly that she eat it with black pepper, As normally she'll be complaining 'spicy' about black pepper, But not this round... Guess it's too delicious that she forgot about 'spicy'!~ My little prince love spaghetti!~ He basically eat all the prawns... And drink a lot of water while eating this!~ It's quite spicy for him as he doesn't really eat spicy stuff... But I think the taste is just nice for me..... I'm pretty surprise, He, too, same like my little girl: Spiciness doesn't stop him from eating the dish, too!~ I finish up what he didn't finish, Because he said he want to eat the next coming up tomato pasta!~ He order this Tomato pasta!~ And he ate almost half the plate, Even after eating the seafood spaghetti!~ Really superb!~ As he's really a very picky eater!~ And the plate is quite huge portion!~ Oh ya! Almost forgot to mention, They did eat chocolate ice cream, And they finish it up, Before I even have the chance To snap a photo of the ice cream... You can imagine how yummy it is!~ Hahahaa~ Guess I need to bring them to dine more, In Garden, Sunway Pyramid... As they enjoy every single dish here....

Hot Soya Honey Ginger | JoinMe - Food Review Malaysia

Hot Soya Honey Ginger

1. Hot Soya Honey Ginger I was completely insane to order a cup of Hot Soya Honey Ginger with extra sugar. Needless to say, I regretted. It tasted so bitter that I had to mix almost every mouthful of it with some kaya in my mouth before I swallowed. 2. Drink with coconut milk, sago, and red beans Halfway through our dinner, my boyfriend decided to order another cup of drink consisting of coconut milk, sago, and red beans if I am not mistaken. Both of us couldn't quite remember its name, and it was nowhere to be found on the worldwide web. I guess it was good, or at least better than Hot Soya Honey Ginger, judging from my recall of intention to jokingly exchange our drinks. 3. Kaya Char Kuih Just by looking at the picture shown on the menu, we pretty much drooled. Prepared and tasted similarly to our traditional You Tiao, K3K Benta Kaya served it together with their homemade kaya. Although the combination of sweetness and saltiness may be weird, I thought it was unique, and it could have been perfect if the amount of sugar used for their kaya could be reduced. 4. Penghulu Fried Chicken Apparently, Penghulu Fried Chicken with Rice was listed as one of the chef recommendations on the menu, and I have seen plenty of positive comments from several bloggers as I went through the internet for more information. Fried to perfection, the fried chicken was crunchy on the outside, and tender on the inside. Dip it into the bowl of curry that was not spicy with strong taste of coconut milk, and it will be perfect. It is not advisable for people who concern about weight and health. 4. Curry Chicken Rice My Curry Chicken Rice was very ordinary, to be frank. Still, I loved how K3K Benta Kaya served their meals with a small bunch of Mamak Style Fried Cabbage each to sort of balance the nutrition. I know I will definitely return one day, perhaps another brunch, because I have yet to try their side dishes that tempted me so badly during my visit. Price wise, it's similar to other cafes like PappaRich, In House Cafe, and etc. Be sure to give it a try!

Then they will take those dim sum to steam. Their service is good. The environment is OK. But their desks and chairs seems not match with their decorating. The price is not expensive. The egg tart is yummy! Not too sweet and the egg jelly is melt in the mouth. The egg tart even don't have fishy odor. Glutinous Chicken Rice is soft and sticky. It tastes not bad. I like to eat carrot cake. In my impression, carrot cake is pan-fried. But their carrot cake seems deep-fried and oily. It looks not good and not healthy. The Shrimp Paste Dim Sum is so so. Dumpling tastes poor, not recommend to order it. Prawn Dim Sum is nice. There are real prawns inside the din sum.

The concept of Korean barbeque has always been a favorite of mine, getting catch up with friends and sharing numerous laughs while waiting the BBQ items to get done. Bulgogi BBQ House which situated in The Strand, Kota Damansara is run by a Korean couple. Bulgogi literally means “fire meat” in Korean. It offers traditional and contemporary Korean cuisines including soups, stews, seafood, noodles and Korean BBQ at reasonable prices. Meal are serve with side dishes. All the accompaniments with the BBQ were well done from the potato salad thing, salad, kimchi, anchovies etc. We order 2 Set Lunch A and C plus 1 Side Dishes (fish) includes rice, chicken kimchi stew, steam egg, bulgogi chicken soy and korean corn tea. Personally I like the Bulgogi chicken soy very much. Love the tenderness of the grilled meat. It is marinated with the soy sauce. It so interesting to have a hot bowl of Kimchi Chicken soup in one hottest afternoon HAHA! It is thick, flavourful and also NON -SPICY even though looks red. While the main course is so great overall. Bulgogi BBQ House currently running some good promotions. Especially, for everyone to enjoy their BBQ during week days at a attractive price. They also have individual set menu. So if you really want to try some good Korea dish, this can be one of your choice. It's a great place to hangout with friends and the atmosphere is very jovial. However, make sure you don't have anything important to attend to afterwards, as the smoky smell of barbequed meats will stick to your clothes.

Sumo Onigiri @ Kuchai Lama is not difficult to be located even though it's just a small shop. A small shop gave me a feel of dining in Japan. However the feel would be much better if the shop only play Japanese song. The menu offers a variety choices of Onigiri. They are all so creative that I feel uneasy to decide which one to order. At last I have ordered a set of Inari Cheese Onigiri. The Inari Cheese Onigiri, when arrived at my table, seems so appetizing and attractive. I managed to wait patiently for the remaining side dishes to come before start digging into it. The set comes with a chawanmushi, miso soup, mashed potato and Inari Cheese Onigiri. The onigiri tastes good as they added in their special spicy sauce, fish roe and cheese. It's poppy but not very spicy. The mashed potato is almost same as the typical cold mashed potato that can be found at normal Japanese restaurant. For the chawanmushi and miso soup, they taste just normal as expected. The entire portion is just right for me, not too small or big. Overall it is a good dining experience at Sumo Onigiri. I might soon visit again to try out the other creative onigiri.

I have ordered a Sumo Special Set D to redeem my taste voucher. This set cost RM9.80 normally, which is considered quite cheap and good deal for Japanese food. This Sumo Special Set D comes with Chuka Chinmi, Tuna, BBQ Salmon, Rice, Tamago, Mashed Potato, Chawanmushi and Miso Soup. Although the taste for this set is average but the special made sauce is a MUST TRY to carry their food to the next level. There are four different types of home made sauce, Spicy Sauce, Sesame Sauce, WasabiMayo sauce and Kim Chi sauce. The sesame sauce taste great, but my favorite is the Spicy sauce. Although the spicy sauce looks very reddish, but its not spicy AT ALL. *because Japanese dont really eat spicy.* The taste for the red sauce is awesome and unable to express the taste using words. You must try it out yourself at Sumo Onigiri!

This is my first time to visit the Steven's Corner. It is a Indian restaurant which served nasi kandar, fried rice, naan, noodles, and soup etc... It is located at Pandan Indah. It's easy to find. The environment is clean but hot. There is no air-cond and you can smoke anywhere. I don't like smoke or secondhand smoke. I hope they can provide a place with air-cond & non-smoking area. That will be better to me. Their service is not bad. I order Nasi Kandar Chicken, Chicken Tandoori & Kopi-O. For the Nasi Kandar Chicken, the chicken is tender and taste good. The vegetable is also delicious. Unlike Kayu Nasi Kandar, their fried chicken is rigid and very very dry!! Not recommend to eat their fried chicken. The Chicken Tandoori tastes good but too salty!! The Cheese Garlic Naan is soft and yummy. You can smell the fragrance of the garlic and cheese flavor. Wow~~really nice!

I'm very disappointed when I look the menu. Because there is a cross on this dish. Therefore I order Salted Egg Squid & Claypot Pork Vinegar to replace it. The environment is clean with soft lighting. Their service is a little slow.(Maybe they are too busy??) I suggest the boss can add some people to work for the weekend time. Salted Egg Squid is really awesome!! You must try it. The soft squid is wrapped with fried salted egg. The taste is wonderful~~I love it so much! Claypot Pork Vinegar is normal, not special at all. I think the pork is not cooked for enough time and taste not sour.

Normally other place only have one flavour but this shop in kuchai lama specialized in rice ball and there are many types of rice ball flavours. There are salmon, baby octopus, and also serving rice set for big eater like me. The menu sells mainly rice ball, some with set or can order ala carte as individual meal. But for big eater, they also sell set meal with rice. I like the rice, but my lunch kaki think the rice texture is a little bit hard. I guess it is depends on different individual. The set that I choose comes with not only rice, omelet egg, baby octopus, and salmon slice. Also with seaweed sheets. Together with the rice is the custard egg chawanmushi (Japanese steam egg) and miso soup. the miso soup is very plain and not enough miso flavour.

But it's not very cool, I suggest they can put some fans. The environment is small, bright and neat. I think their food already improve this time. The Char Siew Ramen taste good. The soup is filled with pork bone flavor. The Teriyaki Chicken is OK, but I can feel something weird chicken taste. I don't like this dish personally. Teriyaki Salmon Set is served with salmon, rice, steamed egg and watermelon. The salmon tastes normal original, but it tastes better after add with the sauce. The steam egg is yummy and soft.

Having originated in Taiwan, it sells some of Taiwan's famous street foods that are typically take away in concept. We ordered XXL Crispy Chicken this bestseller, XXL Crispy Chicken. crispy?..Yes. Huge-sized bone-in chicken meat?..Definitely. Sizzling hot?..Hell Yeah. Healthy option?...No, It's too oily..and I need to increase my jogging regimen to shed some pounds and lose some calories..Haha. Oh well, enjoy your food and snack if you haven't try it out :D

Dolsot Bibimbap with Spicy Octopus | JoinMe - Food Review Malaysia

Dolsot Bibimbap with Spicy Octopus

Kyung Joo the Korean restaurant that located at Mid Valley Megamall offers a complete list of Korean cuisine. They also provide Korean style of barbecue with fume hood facility each table. Visiting Korean restaurant, one of the popular food must try is the Dolsot Bibimbap. Dolsot Bibimbap simply means a mixed rice that served using a stone bowl. My choice was Bibimbap with spicy octopus. The bibimbap set was served with three different side dishes. The ingredients for this bibimbap was quite simple, spicy octopus with kimchi, chili paste and a raw egg was topped on the white rice. Just simply mix well all the ingredients while it is still hot. Meanwhile, the side dishes also can be mixed together. The three side dishes are cucumber, cabbage kimchi and raddish cubes. Enjoy a delicious and fulfilling bibimbap here. Nice environment with friendly staff.

Chatime Mango Yogurt Drink

Within a short period, Chatime has become one of the top selling bubble tea franchise chain internationally. Chatime can be seen almost everywhere, especially the major shopping complexes in Klang Valley. It is very common seeing their regular and walk-in customers queuing up just to grab a cup of drink. Chatime is continuously and on-going launching new series of drinks such as Triple ChocOlate Perfection - Chocolate Series, Health-tea Drinks - Horlicks Series and Blueberry Smootea. I have visited this Chatime outlet at Kuchai Entrepreneurs Park that occupied one whole unit of shoplot and providing delivery services. I quite like the environment and outlet interior, very relaxing and comfortable. I have purchased a Mango Yogurt drink, regular size with normal sugar level and less ice. The Mango Yogurt drink was cooling, refreshing and thirst quencher. The normal sugar level actually is quite sweet, should have order for less sugar.

Japanese Cucumber Smoothies

Went for shopping, feel very tired and want to try something new, saw this Soy drinks series quite fresh and healthy, so we went for it. Japanese Cucumber Smoothies - RM5.30 As what I know from their website, they using premium soy milk using soy beans imported from Canada blended with cucumber. This cucumber drink looks very attractive so we gave it a try. Amazingly, the taste of cucumber blended with the soybean is very nice. Some juice of cucumber with the nice smell of the soybean, really really nice to drink! Service: I really enjoy listen what they recommend to us. Nice serving for every staff in restaurant that know how to suggest things to their customer. Ambiance: The area is actually quite small, because we will block other from walking if sit there. But overall still very comfortable sitting there. Every of their drink also blend with the soybean, so you can try it for a healthy lifestyle! :)

Passion Fruit Mojito

Bonjour Garden, a bakery cafe with French setting of lush greenery, fountain and even seats that resemble Mediterranean boat. The French ambiance of Bonjour Garden would have been brought out better if the background music were to be of French music rather than Korean waves. Sheltered from the rain and shaded from the sun, its design was to ensure presence of bright sunlight throughout the cafe. However, heat that comes along with the sunlight is rather difficult to be cooled down with blowing fans alone. I wouldn't imagine myself sitting here for lunch to get a free sauna session. We were disappointed to learn that the afternoon tea set were sold out at 4pm with less than one third of the seats occupied. Jason then suggested to try out their March promotion of Buy 3 for 2 under the recommendation from their friendly staff. The cakes were of soft textures and low sweetness level. Average with nothing to wow about.

Sumo takoyaki

I face difficulty in finding this shop and now I thought of one idea for JoinMe. JoinMe can actually give us some obvious landmark so that we can easily search for that place. Once we reach there, the staff there welcomes us pleasantly. He let us order food below RM10.90 and not from the restricted 7 dishes. He suggested us with quite variety of dish, how it's made and many more but I can't remember everything. Feel kinda sorry to the staff. :P Food: Sumo Takoyaki Set - RM9.80 A set that come with come with Rice, Tamago, Mashed Potato, Chawanmushi and Miso Soup. If you eat only the rice, it's actually got some salty taste in it which already nice enough. Tamago, it is grilled egg with sugar which put on top of the rice. Mashed Potato, on the first bite, I was quite shock to bite something cold but not something hot because I thought mashed potato should be something like what the KFC having. Chawanmushi, the teacup steamed egg mouthfeel is so smooth. Miso Soup, soup with wakame and small pieces of tofu inside. To be frankly, I personally don't like the taste of the soup, quite strange for me and I can't accept it. But overall, the foods are really nice! Ambiance: A shop that used only half of the shop size but you won't feel it's pack when you are inside. Besides that, what amazed me is inside it, they use another half for another shop which sells Taiwan Pearl Milk Tea but that day the shop doesn't open. The staff of the Sumo Onigiri also doesn't forget to recommend us with the Pearl Milk Tea, he told us that it's really nice. As you see from the picture, you can call for delivery or catering services at 017-5050755, but I not sure with the delivery area, so you will need to call them to ask. Don't worry with their food taste, their foods are really nice! I think I'll go again to try out the Pearl Milk Tea and their foods. Arigatō to JoinMe and Sumo Onigiri for the nice foods! :)

Nan yu fried sweet potato leaves - RM7

Sungai Chua is a Chinese residential area. It has its own commercial area with banks, markets and of course FOOD. Here in Sungai Chua, there are a plenty full of Chinese Restaurants and food courts. One of the Chinese restaurant that I would like to recommend here is the Restaurant 72. This restaurant is basically transformed from a corner house. The name 72 comes from its house number. Similar to other Chinese restaurant, they served many variety of food, from vege, fish, meats, chickens, seafood and etc. One of their speciality here is the Yun Nam steam fish. The gravy of the fish is unique with sour lemonade taste and served with petai, long beans, brinjal/eggplant and tomatoes. Another unique recommendation from me is its famous taufu. The taufu is cooked in egg and crab meats gravy, that makes it sweet and tasty. This restaurant is suitable for family dining. It contains the outdoor and the indoor air-conditioned part.

i really like to dine in here at hakata ippudo ramen which Ippudo is a worldwide famous Japanese Ramen restaurant which originally from Hakata, a district located in Fukuoka City in Kyushu, Japan.very nice deco here and impreesive. Their first restaurant was opened in 1985. they expanded their business in different locations in the whole of Japan and now Ippudo has been internationally famous worldwide. i try this menu called the Shiromaru Motoaji for the price of RM26. The original Ramen noodles at Ippudo, I ordered this dish and their renowned Tonkotsu Broth which boiled with pork bones for longer hours makes it taste so good.uses thin noodles and i like the soup. also recommend the Hakata-Style Soup Gyoza price at RM15 which the Gyoza is the Japanese Style of dumplings with thick broth with some ginger and vegetables.

Pigs in Blanket

We chose to celebrate at here during mother's day. There were so many people queuing at here. We waited for our turn for almost one hour. The environment is quite nice, but unfortunately the air-conditioner is not functioning properly that day, causing the environment to be quite warm. We ordered a Full Rack of Flaming Kansas City flavor (RM59.90++), portion for 2 pax, but the portion is quite small for 2 people. They serve it by pouring a small cup of whisky on it on the spot and burn it with lighter to enhance the fragrance of the whisky. We can choose 2 side dishes for this set, ranging from beer battered fries, fragrant rice, coleslaw, baked potato, mashed potato, corn and vegetables. I chose the mashed potato and the fries. The mashed potato are different from what we normally eat at fast food restaurant, it's fresh mashed potato without gravy and there is skin inside. The pork pizza (RM25.90++) is VERY VERY nice! It has only marinated pork on top of it with Italian cheese, simple yet delicious. The dough is very crispy but maintaining the texture of it, really must try it. Then my brother ordered a BBQ Chicken (RM29.90++). It's a Charbroiled half chicken. It was quite nice at the first bite. The sauce is very tasty. However, when I eat the inner part of it, it's tasteless, especially the breast part, not very well marinated. We also tried out one of their burger, Mushroom Burger (RM24.90++). It is not really recommended, quite poor compared with other restaurants in term of price for quality and quantity. The minced pork is too dry and not juicy, the bread also not fluffy. We ordered a Grilled Pacific Cod (RM56.90++) for mum. It is only nice for its freshness but not for the taste. Yea freshness is important for fish, but there are many places out there which provide fresh fish and delicious. The fragrant rice comes with it is very fragrant and nice though. Of course, we'll never miss out snack of the restaurant. We ordered a Pigs in Blanket (RM18.90++). Yeah it doesn't disappoint us. It's cocktail sausages wrapped with grilled bacon and served with their signature Bourbon Sauce which is a Charbroiled sauce with rich Whisky inside. We ordered a few glasses of bottomless soft drinks(RM6.90++) and fruit juice(RM8.90++) to be shared. The fruit juice isn't fresh juice though. All food are subject to 10% service charge and 6% gov tax.

Inari Cheese

Went to Sumo Onigiri at Damansara Utama for this time. Everything (food, ambiance and service) is much more better than at Kuchai Lama. Served and welcomed by the passionate staff. Nice smile :) and talkative. Once we showed him the taste voucher, he told us that we can choose any dishes or sets within RM 10.90. Without reading the menu by standing in front the counter, he lead us to seat. The shop is divided into two parts which another half shop is belongs to taiwan tea (from my observation). The staff of Sumo Onigiri even promote the taiwan tea other than his own food! haha! Well, I prefer the design of the wall, ambiance and the rate of service of this branch rather than Kuchai Lama. Ordered Inari Cheese. It comes with set which included mashed potato, chawanmushi and miso soup. The size is much more bigger than I've thought. Tried first bite without any sauces. If not mistaken, I've tasted the baked-rice with some sesame topped with unknown sauces which is spicy, filled with lots of ebiko (really have the popping sound as mentioned by others) and some melted-cheese between the rice. Quite surprise! Besides that, I've tried the four different sauces which strongly recommended by the staff such as sesame sauce, kimchi sauce, wasabi with mayo sauce and chilli sauce. Every sauce brought different flavor for me and each can be accepted! For me, I like the sesame sauce the most. The original taste was not bad too! Thanks to joinme and Sumo Onigiri again for the taste voucher and food. Appreciated indeed! :)

It started out with a stall at a coffee shop in SS2 Chow Yang here back in 1974 and grew to become one of the most popular “Mamak” restaurants in Klang Valley and Penang. Today, from the little stall around the corner, many such eateries have envolved into much bigger establishments with some owning chains of restaurants that carry same name. Nasi Kandar had its humble origins in Penang Island, Nasi’ means rice in Malay while ‘Kandar’ refers to a formidable stick that is slung across one’s shoulder to carry heavy objects securely hung on both ends of the stick. Their signature dish of course is Nasi Kandar, Roti Tissue, Lassi drink and Cheese Naan. Today morning, we have decided to atop by here for breakfast. We have ordered Roti 3 Rasa ( Egg, Planta & Kaya) and ready made Fried Rice. The roti is so tasty, especially when dip inside the dal. The fried rice is just normal only.
