I guess this is one of the craziest and furthest epicurean journeys I have embarked on so far within the vicinity of KL, or should I say quite a milestone’s thrown away? Hehe. Frankly speaking, the location of this resort is bit far from the town as it takes about nearly 1 hour to reach, if you depart from AsiaJaya area. I was jumping on the invitation by my friend who is adventurous to be part of the escapade. So there we were, greeting the cool, breezy beach in the evening where UV from the sunlight shouldn’t be that intense :P The white sandy beach was nice to stroll along and it created a sense carefree lifestyle. Alright, holistic sharing aside. Let’s dig into the food they gotta offer :P . Seriously, I think I have a big appetite for sweet stuff, haha. By looking at the pictures, you would know what I mean. The eatery actually houses an extensive range of beverages, snacks and an a la carte menu which include local and continental food. It seems to be more fun if you join after sun down for there would also be live entertainment. There are bakeries for you to choose from should you prefer some carbo other than the staple food like rice, noodles etc. There are varieties of them such as baguette, hotel loaf, rye bread and many more. Some of the bread might be bit hard, so you might want to go easy on it should you not a bread person, keke. When eaten with butter, it’s real yum yum with the crisp crust ^^ Now come to my favourite part of all, the morsels of the sweeties! Hehe. As you can see here, it’s really a lovely kaleidoscopic sight for any gourmand. And I especially enjoy the in house muesli snack, which looks like a mixture of almonds, nuts, cereals and raisins, that I could identify, and then nicely place in a wine glass. It’s very nutty and addictive at the same time. Anyway, should you fancy other softer desserts, you may opt for delicate tarlets or some puddings. Regardless of whether you are here to whet your appetite or wet your feet, it’s definitely another long exciting day! ^^
