Tosai



There was one fine morning that I was craving for this local delight as my breakfast, hehe. Luckily it’s just nearby my working area, thus making it easier to go as a take-away :D The tosai is really soft and bit sour, but I know that it’s the natural taste of rice as this thin crepe is made of rice flour. Therefore, it’s quite healthy and less calorie. Usually, it’ll come with a special gravy to pair with. I couldn’t recall the name exactly, but the sauce actually consists of coconut, curry leaves and some ‘biji sawi’ that helps to add some spiciness into it. The usual white color relish somehow this time is in orangey colour that leads me to the suspicion that some chilli might have added into it as well. It’s pretty hot if taken too much at one go, at least for me :D
