Although I’ve heard a lot of food outlets around Changkat Thambi Dollah, this is my first time making a visit here. It seems like another tucked-away street worth discovering. ^^ And so, here we are, at one of the eatery here called Fun Taipei Teacafe. Bearing a catchy and unique billboard, this shop has been operating for quite some time, according to my local friend. So I suppose the food quality won’t go astray much, hehe. Thus, there start our verdict :) We felt warmly welcomed by the affable staffs upon our arrival. Needless to say that the café also holds a comfortable environment too. Apart from that, one also gets to enjoy some artistic painting and ancient Chinese poem-like writing hanging gracefully on the wall. And I just can’t resist snapping a few shots for memory. It reminds me of the days when am at Ali-Shan in Taiwan, such a chilling weather filled with serenity. We quenched our thirst first with their pearl milk array. So here we have Yam Milk and Mint Milky Tea of 350 cc each. I have always eager to try on any mint-related food. So for pearl milk tea in this case, gonna be a fresh attempt :) At first sip, the mint flavor was quite piquant, but it got better as the whole beverage blended in together eventually. Its milky and cooling! As for the Yam Milk with QQ jelly, my friend said it was average with the main Yam taste was still prevailing. Milky as it was, the QQ jelly was chewy too. Initially we wanted to have pearl jelly but were told it’s still in the midst of preparation process. So, we just go ahead with the latter then. Knowing snack food is one of the popular bites back in Taiwan, we ordered some Fried Dumpling and also Fried Fish Chop.
