Tau Fu Fa | JoinMe - Food Review Malaysia

Tau Fu Fa

Truth be told, this is my first time making a casual visit to our very own Petaling Street, hehe. If not because there were company to go along with me, I think, till now I has yet to make any step there, LOL. So my friend suggested that we went there earlier in the morning so it won’t be too crowded later on, considering it’s one of our major tourist spot. Here we are, arrived at the precisely spot where the famous Chinatown Soya Bean is located. According to my friend, this stall is very famous and has since been spread by word or mouth. Finally I get to taste some of the produce by Kim Soya Bean. We asked for Soya Bean drink and also Tau Fu Fa. The soybean drink, indeed is much thicker than the one I have at Miharja night market, no doubt the price of this sold at town area is much higher:P There is this smoothness in the white looking milk that make you think you’re actually drinking concentrated of blended soya beans., hehe. We asked for less sugar syrup so we could enjoy the real aroma of the beany taste. It’s nutritious and definitely delicious. Now it reminds me of the Black Soybean drink that I had in Korea…….slurps! As for the bean curd, a.k.a. ‘tau fu fah’, the portion was normal and the sweetness of the white sugar syrup was at acceptable level. Somehow, I find that the bean curd was much solid than the one I tasted before, thus, it’s not that silky as its peers. Nevertheless, we find it still delectable especially my friend who loves it dearly, haha.
