Taiwan Recipe @ IOI Mall, is strategically located at 3rd Floor, IOI Mall New Wing, Puchong, adjacent to GSC cinema. Taiwan Recipe is a non-halal restaurant, which is a sister chain to the halal Little Taiwan restaurant. The interior design was simple and elegant, providing a warmth feeling by using monochromatic color - bright orange color, including their logo, front entrance, sofa set, lamp and background as well. They also have a open concept kitchen with see-through windows. I have ordered a Taiwanese Salted Chicken Chop Rice Set which consist of a main dish, three side dishes, rice and soup. I have also added a stewed egg. Taiwanese Salted Chicken Chop is one of the famous Taiwan street food at the night markets. Now at Taiwan Recipe, it is awesome that I can savor a complete set meal. The chicken chop was deep-fried until golden brown, very crispy, tasty and not really that salty. It goes well with the stew minced pork rice and three side dishes - salted chicken balls, cherry tomato and pickles. The stewed egg was slightly salty though. Soup of the day served was a tasty seaweed tofu soup. Overall, good dining experience with delicious Taiwanese cuisine.
