What a nice scenic place this lakeside campus beholds. It was definitely an airy and cooling night when we came over the other day to attend a degustation event at Thyme & Taragon Restaurant. That particular event gathered all the various fine food and alcohol beverages and also a showcase of multiple food pairing skills where guests learned to ‘eat the drink and drink the food’. It’s pretty interesting right? Yea, I knew that as me, myself, really enjoyed it :D There was this Paris Kiss (as Tea) which was to be paired with sweet raspberry macaroons. The dessert helped to bring out the flavor of the cocktail. Same goes for the Illy Cube which was of coffee-based and frothed coffee cream by Illy, was to be paired with in house Tiramisu. The drink itself was bit foamy in the midst of its creamy and thick texture, and the dessert was simply superb! Hehe. There was this pairing of refreshing cocktail with spaghetti too! Yea, u heard it right:P There were also display of liqueurs and spirits for drink connoisseurs alike. Cheers for many happy days to come! ^^
