sirloin steak with 2 sides | JoinMe - Food Review Malaysia

the cafe offers a wide range of food, from chinese style stir-fry, to western chops, steaks, soups and appetizers to even those on the go favourites, hotdogs. talking about the environment of the cafe, it's a double storey shop lot with a small stage for singing performance. the cafe is painted black and other furnitures are white. since it's like an open air concept, it's quite warm even when you're inside. i ordered orange juice(RM5.90) and sirloin steak(RM25.90) the orange juice is blended, not squeezed. it's quite fresh though, thick and not too sweet and also not too iced. the sirloin steak is served with 2 sides, one is foil-bake potato with mayo, the other is fresh garden salad drizzled with thousand island sauce. the steak is served with black pepper sauce. the waitress dint ask me how i would like my steak. they serve it somewhere near well done which kinda turned me off coz it's like a bit overcooked in my opinion. as for the black pepper sauce, it's not quite spicy but quite aromatic. as for the baked potato, it goes better with the black pepper sauce rather than the mayo, the salad is fresh but the sauce kinda turned me off, the thousand island tasted more like mayo+chilli sauce+ketchup. but then it's just my opinion, i dun reali like mayo. the service is quite good though. overall a not bad experience
