Chicken Curry Special Bento | JoinMe - Food Review Malaysia

Dine in here with a friend with the groupon voucher. We had a bento set, Chicken Curry special and Potato Croquette Curry special Chicken Curry Special- as according to the description, is teriyaki chicken with japanese curry on it. I go for this set cause I like both teriyaki and curry so much. Sadly, I cant taste the teriyaki sauce at all from this dish, but the curry is not a bad choice. It is like the typical indian curry, a lot of spices but it is less spicy. I like the sweetness of the curry. The chicken, thought it dont have the teriyaki flavour on them, taste quite nice too. It is tender and soft. Potato Croquette Curry Special- Potato Croquette is kinda like potato mesh, add in seasoning, then fried. It is very nice with the starchy texture, and the seasoning is just nice too. I would prefer them to not to pour the curry gravy on top of the croquette, cause that made the croquette soggy. The part that are not coated by the curry is crispy. Both bento set are served with Japanese rice, slices of watermelon, and salad. I like japanese rice, cause they are chewy texture.
