Tian Qi Nourishing Soup @ RM15.90 | JoinMe - Food Review Malaysia

Taang Sifu 汤师父 originate from Johor Bahru and you can see a lot of it outlet around JB town. I never eat at any Taang Sifu restaurant back in KL, so today we decided to patrolling City Square outlet for some light lunch. I'm not so hungry so I order the Tian Qi Nourishing Soup (田七) which cost me RM15.90. Tian Qi Nourishing Soup, a Chinese Herbal Recipes is an effective cleanser of the blood and helps to improve blood circulation. It is said to have significant healing effects, eliminating pain and eases bruises and swelling, improvement of skin texture, refreshment of the mind and energizing the body. Overall it taste OK and I like the bitter taste on it. While my sister order the Dried Scallops & Petite Abalone Mixed Rice. We share this dish as she also not hungry. The gravy is flavourful but the Petite Abalone really small. It didn't looks as presentable as the photo inside the menu :-( Others family member also order their choice of food. Basically the extensive menu look attractive but when the dish serve to our table it didn't look that great and somehow I feel it slightly overprice. I not so hungry so I just order the soup.
