Plus One Shabu Shabu is located at the first floor of One Utama Shopping Centre. Shabu Shabu is one of the Japanese style steamboat where each person will have their own mini steamboat, not like Chinese style where all the people sharing the same steamboat. The environment is nice and comfortable, kind of high end. They are having promotion during weekdays, from 11am to 5pm which offers 7 choices of set. The soup is complimentary if you order any of the set and there are 7 choices of soup to choose from which include Coriander & Perserved Egg, Chiu Chow, Thai Tomyum, Fish, Corn & Carrot, White Fungus Papaya and Japanese Miso. There are more than 5 sauce to choose from and personally I like the Satay sauce very much. We have ordered Homemade Balls Set and Mix Set with Coriander & Perserved Egg and White Fungus Papaya soup. The ingredients are just like the normal steamboat, which include vegetables, mushroom, prawn, fish ball, bean curd, chicken slice and noodle. Out of all, I like the Home made pork and fish balls most. The waiters there also very friendly and serve the food quite fast. Overall, I am very satisfy with the restaurant as the ingredient is fresh and the soup is very special where you cannot find else where. The price is reasonable during promotion, but i think is a bit overcharge if without any promotion. They even charge RM2 person for the sauce. So do try it out during weekdays.
