Dang gui replenishing soup

The name of this restaurant is literally translate into the master of soup, this tells that there would be some great soups there waiting to be explored. However I doubt I would revisit after this one time, as I feel that most of the flavours roaming on my tongue after every sip is none other than the umami flavour. That really shouldn’t happen when you are selling home boiled soup on the menu. First of all the Dang gui replenishing soup which sells at RM15.90 had very mild dang gui flavour in it. This is said to be improving blood circulation and regulating exhaustion. I love them using the black chicken but they have got to be a bit more generous with it and I really don’t mind paying a little extra for it. Everything else either tasted briny or bland. The Dried fish and shredded cabbage which sells at RM 14.90 and is suppose to strengthen physique and claims to be healthy and tasty. While the Mee suah and dried scallop and abalone slices improces the immune system, they are priced at TM 15.90 each. Lastly the beverages are also derived into the its ultimate health benefits, that is to improve the body hydration The Sugar cane with sea coconut is priced at RM 5.90 each.
