
I attended my cousin's wedding dinner last week at Bukit Mertajam at Zui Xiang Lou Seafood Restaurant. The among the dishes served in appetizer platelet, I love the Teochew yam paste very very much! Is very appetizing! Not to sweet, not to heavy, just nice. :) The shark fin soup (I think so) is served with crabsticks, crab meat, dried scallops, chicken and mushroom slices. I like it better with vinegar, nice soup to warm your stomach. Mushroom with broccoli is one of my favorite too! Assorted mushrooms were served with fresh scallops, fried fu zhok and unknown transparent thingy (joint-jelly like). The broccoli is not too hard not too soft, just nice! The curry bak kut with bun is the best! Dip the bun into the curry sauce and "Omg" I really don't know how to express the tastiness of it! The strong curry aroma and tender juicy bak kut *yum yum*. (How I wish I had some white rice :P)
