
after looking at the menu, i decided to try this popular taiwanese recipe. the serving size was quite big enough. when i first bite into the three cup chicken, i could easily taste the rice wine marinade of the meat. the flavorful and strongly Ba Jiao Hui Xian is used in this dish. accompanied with basil and dried chili, the sauce brings out the best in the chicken meat. as for their roasted oolong tea (i don't like creamy stuff), it has a strong initially bitter taste. i liked that they're not overly sweet like some places and have a great tea flavor. the pearl was firm but not chewy. it make me feel tired of bite on it.
