Spicy Hot Ramen | JoinMe - Food Review Malaysia

Spicy Hot Ramen

After doing some shopathon at Ikano with my dearest bro, it’s time to let our aching leg to have some rest (Though my bro’s leg was begging for more mercy! Haha) And so we dropped by at Little Taiwan for some nice dinner to pamper ourselves :) The café exuded some freshness feel with its lively green theme that kept diners enjoying meal cozily. We were able to secure a nice couch at the corner for that time, it wasn’t crowded, so thank God ^^ For that very day, I wanted to challenge myself with some spicy food which I usually would shy away :P Therefore, Spicy Hot Ramen would be my choice of that night, and of course, am ordering cold beverages as a backup plan! Haha :D The moment the bowl of hot ramen arrived, there was a waft of spicy sourish aroma giving me some early warning I guess, but I heed not the signal and there I went, my bet:P True enough, the soup base was indeed quite spicy for me. It had the resemblance of Szechuan soup with some hint of hot, spicy and piquant flavour. It had kind of numb my taste bud as the accompanied side dishes all went down my throat without much distinctive taste, haha. Needless to say, I was eating and sweating with a red face that time (*Blushed*) while he was enjoying his set meal while this sister like “suffering” from the meal, what a remark! @.@ Anyway, the ramen noodle was nice and springy. It’s recommended should you are enjoy spicy food :D Here is the drink that cools me off:P Cream Milk Roasted with Oolong Tea with Pearl The milk had been frothed nicely and thus was very foamy. It blended in well with the subtleness of Oolong tea, which gives you the rich aroma of tea fragrance as you savour them simultaneously. It was quite a unique presentation though, to be laid out in a bowl of icy glass. This reminds me of the mind-boggling cocktail gustation event I attended few weeks back. Interesting! ^^
