After feeling a bit exhausted from browsing all the books at BBW Book Fair, we then walked to the nearest eatery at MINES, and thus, ended up here at Little Wok Kitchen. This orangey themed restaurant was seen to be quite packed at that hour. Lucky thing was the service time rendered was pretty good, minus out the food presentation which didn’t look like in the menu :P, in this case are the rice selection. Chicken Chop Rice This meal was actually kind of a let-down case for my friend. The moment it arrived, unbelievable question marks was seen at his face, hehe. Same goes to all of us. Although there was a fried egg to accompany, it doesn’t help much in arousing the interest to enjoy it. I suppose my friend just gobbled it up without much critical comments for the taste would be ubiquitous and the chicken chop wasn’t crispy enough. Sweet & Sour Chicken Rice As for this, it’s much better than the former dish. The appetizing sauce gave the meat sourish flavor and in a way, help to spice up the set a bit, which otherwise might look tad dry. The meat was decently tender but only if the vegetables used were given slightly more generous, it would be better. If just based on these few slices of cucumber, it could be less appealing without any gravy.
