Finally, am making a mark over here for another Indian cuisine. I was told that there is a close culinary influence between Arabian and North Indian cuisine. It has grand décor with a warm setting interior. A lot of gold embellishments are to be seen around the restauran What’s better to assimilate yourself into the culture than gathering all assorted BBQ dish on a plate? So we have this Mix Barbeque Platter of Tandoori BBQ. It consists of various types of grilled poultry like mutton, chicken, and fish for you to choose from. The meat could be quite dry and hard as they are barbequed and thus, you may go along with the provided mint chutney, as the dipping sauce. The relish is bit minty amidst the piquancy touch it has. Quite an exotic trial to me :D Indian Dessert Upfront shared, these little morsels really con me into thinking that one is fried sweet potato ball and the other would be marshmallow dipped in syrup, haha. Well, it’s my first time getting a taste of Indian dessert :D Rasgulla (Semolina & Cream Cheese Balls) This mellow-looking ball is called Rasgulla. Perhaps one could easily remember it as ‘Beras Gula’, hehe. It’s really sweet with a spongy texture, thus allowing it to absorb decent amount of candy syrup into it. So as you bite on it, the sweet syrup just ooze out and tada, sweet indeed! Haha… Gulab Jamun (Waffle Balls) As for this brownish ball who really got me, taste slightly better than the former, except that, they are both equally too sweet to my liking. This Gulab Jamun has a coarser texture and much more chewy. Good that it is not as absorbent like Rasgulla, thus the syrup is still bearable. So I have partitioned them into four smaller bites to be shared among us:D
