轩记 Hong Kong Dim Sum Restaurant is located in SS2, jus opposite of SS2 hawker centre and same row as OSK Investment Bank. It is easy to get parking along this ow of shop lo compare woth other shop lot in SS2 area. This restaurant serves Hong Kong Dim Sum, noddle and rice with roasted pork, chicken and duck. They hired Ricky Goh, International 5 Stars Chef as their consultant. The environment is nice and comfortable. We have ordered Dumpling Soup with Century Egg Noodle, Char Siew Noodle Soup and Oyster and Peanut Porridge as our main dish. The wan tan noodle is very thin and springy, the soup is not so oily, the char siew is very soft and tender and the dumpling is very filling with well marinated meat and century egg. The porridge is normal, nothing great to shout about. As for side dishes, we have ordered Steamed Egg Lotus Peast Bun, Deep Fried Yam Dumpling, Deep Fried Sesame Date and Honeydew with Sago. Personally I like the Yam Dumpling very much. The skin is very crispy, the meat inside is very tasty. The honeydew with sago also very nice, rich with coconut milk and honeydew cube. Overall, I am very satisfy wih the food here, and the price is quire reasonable.
