This shop is really unknown for many, only those who stayed around this area will know. Even as a Melacan, I have no idea about this shop, It is actually a house, not so significant, only those who know it only will go. There are really quite a variety of nyonya delicacies here. Personally, I recommended the Ang Ku Kueh, 9 Layer cake, Onde-Onde, Apam balik and Seri Muka. Ang Ku Kueh- Quite small, but full with flavor. Not so sweet though. I like the think skin, and thick and compact bean filling. The skin is slight chewy and soft. 9 Layer cake- Very fragrant with coconut milk sense, slight sweetness, soft and chewy at the same time. It is beautifully layered, red and white alternating. Onde-Onde- Greenish ball covered with shredded coconut and gula melaka filling. The filling still have a little chunk though, the juice will explode in every bite. A very exploding taste inside your mouth Apam balik- Creamy and chewy texture, full with coconut milk taste, slightly sweetness. I like it that they put some shredded coconut at the inferior part, which add in some texture. Seri Muka- Creamy sweet custard, and slightly salty glutinous rice at the bottom. A great combination of sweet and salty. I like the combination of chewy texture and the creamy texture of both custard and rice.
