Hokkien Mee | JoinMe - Food Review Malaysia

Hokkien Mee

Damansara Uptown is another food hunting ground. There are quite a lots of food restaurant around here. I visited this Hokien Mee restaurant as the crowd attracted me. It was full house, and the outside seats were full. I had their signature Hokien mee. The waiter, who is taking the order, is using an Ipad to order the meal, very advanced. The food was served pretty fast. Hokien Mee- When it was served, the fragrant soy sauce is very strong. There are quite a lot of ingredient, such as cabbage, meat, and most importantly the pork oil fries or ZHU YOU ZHA. The taste for me is quite normal. The noodle is well cooked, the texture is little chewy and soft. The cabbage is totally cooked, soft and without the crunch. I like the crunchy port oil fries, as it is crunchy and add in some texture and flavor to the noodle. The taste is quite plain actually, just the soy sauce, and I will put in some little black vinegar to go with it, and some sambal, as they are served on the table.
