I have been longing for Mille Crepes for sometime……..ever since I heard of this multilayer pastries from Nadeje in Melaka. Too bad I seldom travel to the historical state, thus need to hold on this craving first, I thought so. Not till I happen to find out from a friend that we actually could get one of equal quality at Food Foundry. According to him, it was also a joint-effort from the same owner of Nadeje, just that they expand the business. Even though am not sure how true is it, it does not deter me from giving it a try, hehe…. And glad to say that, it didn’t let me down and am already looking for another return in near time soon. The Vanilla Mille Crepe is superb! Dense with the much-needed creamy vanilla, sandwiched between layers of thin crepe and then melt in the mouth, gives out a satisfying pleasure. It’s not too sweet not too cloying. Then we tried the Cordon Blue and Chicken Chop. The latter seems pretty normal to me, whereas the former is bit drier version compares to the zestier similar fare by Mizi Bistro. Apart from their famous varieties of mille crepes, they also served other poultries, seafood and many others Western cuisines as well. Am pretty sure you would be able to find one that suites your tastebud, at least:P But my favourite remains with the original vanilla mille crepe! ^^ Yummylicious……….
