Xiao Bar Wang located at the ground floor, they served authentic taiwan delicacies with reasonable price. Hanging out around 1 Utama when I notice this small shop. From the review from JoinMe, I decided to give it a try. I had their set meal which are the braised pork rice set and Mee Sua Set. Both set came with a complimentary fried chicken, a drink and a herbal egg. Braised Pork Rice- Just a simple rice set, with some braised pork and vege. Not really favor this, because I like strong flavor, and the braised pork is just too mild for me. The minced meat is quite nice, chewy texture and they are braised for a very long time. Mee Sua- The typical taiwanese street food. Normally I had it with a little black vinegar, but this restaurant din provide any. The gravy is thick, and flavorful. There are few meat balls which are very nice and juicy. Friend Chicken chop- The chicken chop are fried till crispy and gold brown in colour. The waiter will put some seasoning on the chicken based on our preference. I like extra spicy, but the spiciness is just mild for me. Herbal egg- this is the most tasteless herbal egg I ever had. It is like eating a normal hard boiled egg. They are tasteless. Drinks- I ordered a Roselle rose drinks. It is quite sourish and chill. The sourish drinks simply clean away all the oiliness and food leftover in our mouth.
