Comes to another round of exploration into Japanese food! Thanks to a gastronomic buddy, that we found this place cosy place that goes by the name of Hana Ichi, which is located conveniently at Sri Petaling. The environment is humbly adorned with some embellishments as well as liquor bottles that symbolize The Land of Rising Sun. It’s not too spacious but is comfortably set up against a chic modern décor and equipped with air conditioners. Let’s get not drooling without looking at the menu first :P Saba Shio Teriyaki It prides itself with a wholesome dining-out in the new healthy trend as food is prepared as close as to its natural taste without much preservative. And for this Saba Shio Teriyaki, is definitely awesome! The mackerel dish is lightly grilled so that it won’t overcook the juiciness of the fish while retaining its natural sweetness. It is only drenched with some teriyaki sauce and is already really good to go. The fish meat is flakily tasty! Chicken teriyaki One would just awe seeing such inviting meal, Chicken Teriyaki, with the necessary honey-glazing like on the chicken skin. It seems normal but after one bite, you might beg to differ. The chicken is extraordinarily tender and flavoursome. The meat is tangy and delicious especially when eaten with the savoury teriyaki sauce which bears some sweetness in it. It’s definitely finger-licking good! Fans of fowl would love it dearly. Hana ichi salad This is one of the starter that I love most from Hana Ichi. This fare seems pretty simple but trust me, it’s really appetizing. With just the basic ingredients like julienned cabbages, cherry tomatoes, lettuces, dashes of sesame with some seemingly like asam jawa pieces, it allows the diners a very refreshing enjoyment of vinegar-like taste. The amount of piquancy is under good measurement for it still appears zesty to us, enjoying it whole-heartedly.
