De Pastry Chef is definitely your neighborhood pastry chef indeed! Just as its taglines goes a long way ^^ Aside from serving nice delish bakeries, it also caters for orders of various occasions. In this case, it was a delivery from a colleague in view of her upcoming marriage :) The package itself was a nice and delightful one, with a variety of little cake morsels in the lovely red box. It seems like a compilation of all the different types of cakes that they bake, in more delicate pieces :) Amongst them all, I enjoy this coffee chocolate cake. Albeit being shaped in a bite-sized portion, it still holds a decent coffee aroma with a spongy texture. The cake itself is soft and and level of sweetness is acceptable. It could be better if there were more chocolate cream added to it^^ As for the mini Kiwi cheesecake variety, it doesn’t loose out either. It gives a mild cheesy flavor with a hint of milky sensation. Then with the citrusy Kiwi, it blends well with the blueberry cream, which was layered delicately on the top. I just wish there would be more cheese added to it, being an avid cheese-love like me! :P Apart from these, there are still many more cutesy creations for you to choose from :)
