Pass by this shop, and my sweet tooth tingling. I stop by to see the promotion item. Surprisingly, they are the same with those I bought in Pavillion KL. 6 pieces for RM20+. I bought a box and the merchant asked me not to eat it immediately because the mochi are deep frozen, they are hard. There are 6 flavor to choose from. Red bean, chocolate, green tea, blue berry, purple potato, and chestnut. I went home, and the mochi had soften. Cant really take picture of the cross section because the mochi is so soft and sticky inside. Red Bean Mochi- This is a typical flavor, the red bean is smoothly blended, there are no chunk of red bean left, just got the fragrant of red bean. The rich chocolate filling inside simply explode. Green Tea Mochi- Not really favor green tea. But the green tea flavor is so strong Blue berry Mochi- another flavor that I dislike. The mochi is ok, but Im not really into blue berry Purple potato Mochi- This is nice. Purple potato is different from yam. It sweet like sweet orange potato, but slightly less sweeter and more fragrant. Chestnut Mochi- The nutty flavor really mixed well with the mochi. The chestnut is smooth and creamy. Overall, all the mochi have very think skin, rich in flavor. To taste the mochi original taste, I do suggest to have a drink of water to wash all the flavour out before eating the next one.
