It was a hot day, me and my friend are tired of strolling around times square, and we decided to stop by Meet Fresh because there are only few people around. I am disappointed with the store, because they are only offering a few type of dessert, their excuse, all sold out. It was just 1pm in the morning, and you already sold out? In the end, we had their signature Herbal Jelly, and hot red bean soup. Signaure Herbal Jelly- Nothing special with this dessert, the taro balls and sweet potato balls are chewy, but compared to snowflake, these are just normal. The ice was not shred smoothly, by mean there are still big chunk of ice remains. The milk add into the dessert which supposed to add in some flavor, but they are tasteless too Red Bean Soup- This is the worse dessert ever. I can taste the char taste of overcooked. The lotus seed is still hard, the yam chunk is tasteless, and the pearls are quite ok. I went and complaint to the waiter about the char, she told me that I already eaten half of the dessert, so she cannot change it for me. I was annoyed because I just tasted a few spoon of it only. I demanded that she change the desert for me, and she ignored me thoroughly and busy with her stuff. The other waiters were just mining their own business. I was standing there like stupid and had to left the store.
