Shiromaru Motoaji | JoinMe - Food Review Malaysia

Shiromaru Motoaji

Guess it’s another new outlet addition to the already populated Japanese culture street, Tokyo Street. Even Hakata Ippudo has just been opened recently, it is able to throng large crowd to its territory especially during the peak lunch hours. After waited for some 10 minutes, finally we are seated, even it’s a counter seating, we are still happy with it :) The environment is definitely not for someone who prefer a much quiet surrounding as it’s really happening and merry with the voices and orders being taken. For a second, you do feel like you’re in Japan, hehe. Anyway, it’s still a pretty decent place to laze awhile. Soon, Shiromaru Motoaji arrived. It is the famous original ramen with authentic pork bone broth. This original recipe Tonkotsu broth is served with Hakata-style ultra-thin noodles and topped with belly chashu, bean sprouts, kikurage and spring onions, The meat is really succulent and the soup is pretty intense with the pork bone aroma. I guess I would prefer if some soya sauce is added to it to balance off the strong taste, hehe. As for the ramen which is ordered to be medium hard, it is springy and delectable.
