Tucked along the busy street of the SS2 Wai Kei Kai, lies this casual ramen dining that goes by the name; Ikuzo Ramen. I wonder how could I miss out this eatery whenever I pass by, but glad to have met it officially for the delish spread it has to offer, haha. It seems to be quite popular among the locals here and shows that it does stood the test of time with the many existing competitive café nearby too. Cosy and airy atmosphere. Guess that’s what keep drawing back its throngs of customer : ) After waiting for a while, soon our order arrived; Goma Dare Ramen. If just based on its appearance, it seems like some noodle being topped off with chicken chop. It’s partially correct except that it came with a special sauce underneath it. The Ramen is actually being tossed with in house unique goma (sesame sauce) that further enriched the flavor of the noodles. The stripes of noodles are springy and full of the sesame aroma, making it so delectable. Not only that, it is also served with braised egg and crispy chicken cutlets! The meat are addictively crispy and succulent! Oh yea, should you prefer much heavier flavor, you may then add in the many ready-to-be-served condiments at your convenience. For me definitely would be more dosage of nutritious sesame! :P This Green Tea Milk is a drink definitely not to be missed! It’s like a blended smoothie of green tea, but what makes it different from others is that it allows the epicure to really enjoy the authentic and rich aroma of matcha, together with some addition of milk. Therefore, it’s very refreshing with mild creaminess, even if it’s more milky, I wouldn’t mind too : D
