The Benteng Coffee House is located at Quality Hotel, Jalan Raja Laut. It’s quite convenient to reach there by monorial should you wish to escape the crawling traffic at one the prime road in town :P I would say this buffet was tailor-made to cater the taste buds of the locals here. You may find quite a number of local delights at most of the buffet sections here. Here you go, dessert corner to jazz you up :P These little morsels did look adorable. The mini jelly cone were most famous amongst the young ones! ^^ All the local ‘kuih’ were nicely presented in a vibrant way. It might bit filling for me as they contains a decent amount of coconut milk, thus sufficed with few bites then :) But there are some western fusion to suit your taste. The mushroom wasn’t bad, creamy though. And some fruits to clear your tummy! :P Pineapple wasn’t that sour and the watermelons were juicy! You may tried their rojak and ice cream too. The fruits meant for rojak were fresh, then mixed with the paste which is not that spicy. You may spice it up with some pounded coarse groundnuts. Oh by the way, don't forget to try your hand at your own recipe of cendol & ABC! :P I'll be missing the desserts especially their creamy cheesecake, not too buttery but decent............ hehe
