Another cutesy pie from Bisou Bake Shop. This American Apple Pie somehow melts my heart the moment I heard of its catchy name. Perhaps it reminds me of the lovey-dovey Western movies :D This soft cupcake is topped with a cream cheese frosting that is rich yet fluffy. There are some cake crumbs (yes, not bread crumbs), sprinkled on the top in order to add a little warm note to the velvet cupcake. Filled with a traditional apple pie filling of cinnamon, sugar and Granny Smith apples, the Apple Pie cupcake tastes and smells much like a baked apple pie fresh out of the oven. This cupcake is served at room temperature, not warm, and not cold. It smells divine for the sweetness has been edged off by the fragrant cinnamon.
