Dim sum restaurants are normally really early. Starting the business early would mean closing early normally before it passes noon time. This one however opens till pass noon. That makes things easy and even perfect for me whenever I am in Melaka. Because that means I don’t have to drag myself up just for dim sums. They were palatable of course and I am especially intrigue by the deep fried salad roll. It has a very crispy outer layer with the coated bread crumbs as well as a very soft and delicious filling of vegetables like cabbage, carrots and my favourite corn. The rest of it was pretty common except they have bigger portions when it comes to typical stuffed vegetables with fish paste. They are really generous with those fish paste so that is really something awesome. Even the rest of their dim sum is slightly bigger in size. Most importantly, the dim sum is freshly prepared and steamed upon ordered. As for the ambience, they weren’t air conditioned but it was a corner shop with lots of space and airy ventilation. Parking bays are not an issue so there is no problem heading to this restaurant for some of those late dim sum brunches.
