Nutella and Banana Waffle | JoinMe - Food Review Malaysia

Waffle is normally a sweet dessert for me. From the review I read in JoinMe, Waffle Mania offer salty waffle. Out of curiosity, I tried it. I had a Chicken Ham and Cheese and a Nutella and Banana flavor. Both cost me RM5.90. Nutella and Banana Waffle- A typical sweet flavor waffle. Not really favor this, because of the simple flavor. Just a few piece of banana, and drizzle of chocolate, not even sure if the chocolate is a Nutella chocolate. The waffle is hot, crispy at the outside, and soft at the inside. Very nice texture. The waffle itself is a bit sweet. The banana is not ripe, the taste is raw-ish. I do prefer they used a fully ripped banana or simply put the banana in a oven to caramelize the glucose in it. This will made the waffle taste better. Chicken Ham and Cheese Waffle- This is a really nice combination. The salty ham and cheese, sourish mayo, and little sweetness from the waffle. After the waffle is done, the waiter put slices of ham and cheese on top of it, and put it into the oven to melt the cheese and cook the ham. The she drizzle some mayo on top. Personally, I do like the cheese to be more melt that it cover the whole waffle, so as I can taste the cheese in every bite. Anyway, this salted waffle is really nice. Both waffle are crispy at the outside and soft at the inside. they are a bit hollow-ish, but still compact enough for the stuffy texture.
