I frequent Publika quite a bit, as my wife likes the convenience (we live nearby) and relatively cheap parking. We've always passed by The Cup, but didnt get the opportunity to try it out until recently. We started off trying 1 rice set and 1 noodle set (in the name of research). First comment from my wife; "they really invest in packaging!". She loves every detail of the packaging, from the food boxes to the carrying plastic. Service was good - the nice Korean lady taking orders was very pleasant & patient (given that 2 undecided Malaysians were poring over the menu). I like the open kitchen concept - always the budding chef, I gush at the opportunity to see the cooks/chefs at work. The food quality was decent - slightly on the pricey side for my taste. We prefer the rice options, as it was slightly hard to eat the noodles off the cup (maybe we just need more practice :)). Overall, good option for a quick meal-to-go, but be prepared to feel a slight dent on your wallet (especially if you're a big eater like myself, and would expect to feel stuffed after paying RM30 for a simple meal for 2). They do deliveries to the immediate area as well! :) * I returned to The Cup on my own a few days later, and ordered the Mexican Beef Rice (rare chance for me to have beef, since my wife doesnt take beef) - and loved it! The presentation is decent, and the taste isnt bombastic as well, but the subtle flavours just do it for me! :)
