This is one of the hidden gems in the town of Cheras. I never knew about it till one luncheon session with my colleagues, hehe. It is a humble Chinese restaurant and located along Peel Road at Cheras. Yea, that is, indeed a busy street, hehe. They served pretty good oriental dishes at average price, that are close to the heart of Chinese folks especially. Clams Soup It was delish with clear seafood broth. Clams were initially just stir-fried with ginger slices till fragrant, and then were boiled for awhile till all the seafood flavor were infused into the gravy. It was sweet as the natural way they were prepared and best to eaten with white rice! Hehe. The clams to me were still bit tiny to those I tried at Korean restaurant. May be due to different species? Hehe.... Three Treasure Catchy name thought:P This dish was woofed up with a combination of three seafood, i.e.: Prawn, Squids and Clams. Such a sumptuous seafood wonder just in one plate! They were all delish at their owns, and when combines in such way, made the dish much better! Prawns were juicy with tangy squids as well as ‘sweet’ clams in the thick sauce. Deep Fried Golden Beancurd This bean curd was smooth inner side, with tad of crispy layer on the outside. It wasn’t that dry as it also came with some starchy greens gravy on top of it. You may also enjoy the fried tau hu with some chilly sauce as well. I wish there were mayonnaise dipping too :P Stir-fried French Bean The beans were crunchy as they were plucked just the right time before they actually ‘matured’ :P Tossed with some garlic as well further enhance the aroma of this dish. Claypot Braised Chicken This dish was ordinary to me as my mom used to cook it often too. The taste was fine, and was braised together with mushroom, carrots and some sweet peas Chicken meat was tender as well. Considered a decent oriental menu anyway.
