The Kopitiam can rightfully claim to be a part of the history and the melting pot culture of modern Malaysia and Singapore. Uncle Lim's cafe is a restaurant located at Ground floor Subang Parade. This is a restaurant that seems alike like other coffee house where they sell the local delights commonly served by the streets or in coffee shops. There is a mix of local cuisine and all dishes served is halal. The menu is really simple and that allows them to be consistent all the time as the scale is small so there wouldn’t be much inconsistency when it comes to freshness of extensive ingredients needed. Apart from the simple toast and bread, which again is served in the very kopitiam style, there is this assorted noodles and the famous nasi lemak which is pretty big in portion. I have always got this personal preference and liking to nasi lemak served in banana leaf packs instead of plates like this. The chili sambal is great and fiery hot so chili lovers would adore this. Next to all these amazing local delights is the western menu, namely the chicken chop. This is not the greatest dish here and I thought they should have stick to what suits them most. The chicken chop was quite bad as the chicken was rather bland and dry. Probably over fried.
