Braised Lamb Shank | JoinMe - Food Review Malaysia

I went there for birthday celebration for my dad. The environment there is very nice, with a piano as decoration. The lighting is very comfortable to dine in there also. I think the menu is vary from branch to branch as some of the food that I intended to order before visiting there are not on the menu. At last I ordered a Braised Lamb Shank (RM35.90++). I am quite disappointed with this dish as such an expensive dish can't even give me any satisfaction. Only the outer part of the lamb shank with sauce has taste, the inner part of the lamb shank is tasteless and hence it makes the smell of the lamb become quite strong. Not really recommend to order this. I ordered a Blood Berry Smoothies (RM12.90++). It's a berries yogurt drinks. It's quite not bad as I prefer sour drinks more than sweet drinks. Yet its sourness should be acceptable for everyone. Spicy Cream Sausage Spaghetti(RM19.90++) is quite nice too but it's not spicy at all. Another signature Spaghetti is Squid Ink Pasta (RM22.90). It doesn't have the stink smell like what i thought and the seafood (scallop, squid, shrimp) are very fresh. You can ask for extra seafood which they only charge extra RM5.00++. Pan Seared SeaBass is quite nice too. The fish is quite fresh, but the portion is very small. (RM20.90++). Pan Seared Cajun Roulade with Turkey(RM22.90++). This dish isn't very nice because of the strong smell of the turkey, but the side dish, potatoes are quite nice. The best dish among all that we ordered is Pan Seared Crispy Salmon. The fish is very fresh and very well grilled with crispy skin outside but maintaining the freshness of the fish inside. It comes along with a fried roll with cheese inside which is quite nice too. We also ordered some snacks to share. We ordered a Salmon Crabby Patty Burger (RM22.90++). It is not really nice because we can't really taste the freshness of the salmon and the texture of the bun is a bit too dry. But the Club Sandwiche (RM14.90++) is quite not bad. Then we ordered 2 desserts to share also. The Creme Brulee (RM12.90++) is quite nice, the sweetness is just nice enough, not too sweet nor tasteless. The softness of the custard inside is just right. But the Bread Pudding (RM12.90++) is just ok. It's a bit tasteless if it is not eaten together with the icecream. The service is ok, the staffs are quite friendly. All food are subject to 10% service charge and 6% gov. tax.
