Korean Fried Glutinous Rice Cake | JoinMe - Food Review Malaysia

Apart from the delicious side dishes, the main course is quite nice too. I had Steam egg, KimChi fried rice, BBQ Pork, Fried Korean Glutinous Rice Cake. Steam egg- This dish is totally about egg. The egg is steamy hot, soft and moist. No seasoning added, as it was totally egg taste, quite ok for me though, as I like egg. This dish must be eaten fast, as when the egg cool down, the fishy egg smell kinda disgusted. KimChi Fried Fice- I like fried rice that are sticky and moist. It is a bit sour, little spicy. not much of ingredient in the rice. just a simple dish. The seaweed really lighten up the dish as it add in a seafood freshness to the dish. sadly, the amount is quite small. BBQ pork- we expecting to play with the grill ourself, and they served us the cooked one. Still it just find for us. It is a bit chewy, and tender at the same time. The meat part is tender, but the skin and fat is chewy. A bit lack in flavour though, so we had to eat them with bean paste. The flavour depend on the amount of bean paste we put in, it add in a special salty taste to the meat, different from the table salt. Korean Fried Glutinous Rice Cake- this is one of the must order for me when I visit a korean restaurant. The rice cake is normal, what is different is the gravy and the taste. Korean House is quite normal, sweet and mild spicy paste. rice cake is well cooked, chewy texture, the fish cake is nice, and the vege is crunchy. Overall, it is a great experience dining here. Student got extra discount too
