Umai Bento House 和味膳食屋, located at Kuchai Lama is serving a wide range of Bento sets with a modern twist from both Chinese and Japanese recipes. Umai Bento House is having their 3rd year anniversary promotions for Bento Set, Udon, Ramen and Soba at only RM9.90 with free flow of green tea. I was on my way back home, weather looks like going to rain heavily, I quickly stepped in to this Umai Bento House and ordered 'take away' for Norwegian Salmon Shioyaki Bento. Their service was speedy and the food was packed in a nice and reusable plastic bento container. When I reached home, the food was still warm. The Norwegian Salmon Shioyaki Bento comes with a grilled Norwegian Salmon, side dishes are tau fu and mixed vegetables, rice and seaweed soup with egg. The salmon fish was nicely grilled and tasty. The mixed vegetables taste quite good but the tau fu is a bit sourish. The seaweed soup with egg was just nice. A warm Bento meal for the cold rainy night.
