Cold Soba Noodle | JoinMe - Food Review Malaysia

Kiraku is a newly open Japanese Restaurant at Bandar Manjalara Kepong. Located at the ground floor of Plaza Manjalara in the "Kepong Steamboat Village" and slightly opposite Momo Paradise and Ketam Steamboat, it have a reserve parking lot for their customer. This is very important as most of the parking lot is booked by the nearby steamboat restaurant. The restaurant is quite spacious and 2 type of dining space available. You can choose the tatami style or the normal table and chair style. Service consider fast and efficient. Ok, now lets see the dish serve here. The menu look interesting and we end up order quite a lot of dish for 2 person sharing. The cooked dish is nice but the sushi not really good as the sushi rice is too loose and drop easily when we pick it with chopsticks. The only dish I want to special highlight here is the Cold Soba Noodle and Sashimi Salad. In Japan, Cold Soba noodles are really popular when the heat turns unbearable. This is the first time I try it and since lately the weather is so hot, why not just try it out. Dipped into the sauce with the mixture of wasabi and others prepared condiment, you can feel the cooling and refreshing to eat on a hot summer day. The Sashimi Salad comes in a small portion but the sahsimi is really fresh. Mix it up with their special salad sauce and it is really delicious. Overall, I can say it is consider a little overprice in Kepong area.
