I have never heard of this place until I came across the deal at Living Social previously. Blend Mix is a place where offers Western and Nyonya fusion cuisines. It is pretty easy to locate the place if you're alert as there are many shop houses around that area. It locates exactly opposite UOB Bank @ Bishop Street. The chicken combo consists of 2 pieces of chicken chops. They are grilled with different sauces. One of them is the curry flavor while the other one is the original flavor which is towards the more salty part in my opinion. The chicken is grill to perfection. Each and every part of the chicken is well-cooked and not raw. Then, it is serves with french fries and some salad as well. Overall, I find that it is quite appetizing and the portion of the serving is pretty generous as well. Yet, the price is very affordable and reasonable as it comes with not 1, but 2 pieces of chickens. Second dish, the spaghetti chicken bolognese. The serving as you can see is quite generous and stomach-full as well. The gravy of the chicken is very generous in portion and unlike a lot other restaurants / cafes, which very kiam-siap in giving out lots of gravy. And the chicken mince meat given is also in a very standard amount as well. Third dish, It consists of chicken ham and chicken meat. But, the whole plate of spaghetti just taste so ''jilak'' to me. The chicken ham and chicken meat given is nice, and portion is pretty generous but I just dislike the gravy taste so much. Nothing to compliment but more to complaining ! Aaarrghhhh..... Fourth, I order the cream of mushroom for the sake that I did not have any mushroom soup for a long time ( probably for 2-3 months ) and I am craving for it!!! To me, RM 4.50 for mushroom soup is just simply overprice as I could easily pay for only RM 3 to 4 at any other restaurant / cafe outlets. I am very very disappointed as the cream of mushroom taste very very ordinary ( pretty much alike the instant mushroom soup that you can get it in the supermarket / grocery stores elsewhere ). And talking about the mushroom, I did not even see a sight of it. Lastly, Ahhh...the drinks : Definitely overprice and yet nothing special. The sweetness of level is too low. When the ice cubes started to melt, the chocolate drinks turns almost tasteless. Overall, a very decent experience. Some dishes are acceptable while some are just a huge NO-NO.
