Claypot Lou Shu Fun | JoinMe - Food Review Malaysia

Claypot Lou Shu Fun

Accidentally found this shop while searching for food around Petaling Streets area, and decided to go for a try. I had a Claypot Lou Shu Fun and Jiang Nan Noodle. Claypot Lou Shu Fun is one of the signature dish. The lou shu fun is served in a claypot, with minced meat, and raw egg. To eat it, just mix evrything together. The egg served as a sticky agent to improve the texture and will cook by itself as the dish is steamy hot. Its a bit salty though, but eat it with some sambal is just nice. I like the minced meat, the lou shu fun is tasteless, hence balanced up the meal. One must eat it fast, as the egg will tend to be overcooked and it become dry. Jiang nan Noodle- this is not my favourite though, as I dont like the dry pan fried noodle. The pan fry noodle is actually wantan noodle, top with some cooked gravy and vege, prawn, squid and fish ball. The noodle is crispy, but for me, it is a bit dry, and those soaked with the gravy tend to be soggy. The ingredient is very fresh though. The environment quite like the old 60-70 coffee house, with a bit mirror across the wall. The service in the other hand is quite bad. I once saw the waiter arguing, and the waiter bill the food not according to the menu. But for the sake of the food, I will still go there.
