Sauce | JoinMe - Food Review Malaysia

Sauce

It is another weekend as usual, we start search for nice food again. This time, it is different than previous a bit. We get sponsored by Join Me HEHE. Thank JoinMe generous gift and excellent shop that sponsor this. So, our story of food searching happens in this way. On a lovely evening we get off from buses at PJ uptown, we pass few shops that look nice and promising. During our journey, we meet a waiter giving flyer to us on pedestrian path before our destination Sumo Onigiri. I am a bit surprise that the shop is so small that normal people won’t pay attention on it but the waiter is trying hard to get people attention and happy to introduce all the food on menu and welcome us for visit. After enquiry about the voucher and order, she leads us to seat and we pick a perfect spot that can watch live making sushi show. While drooling on the sushi on the picture, we can see skillful master making our food. It is food porn! That master torch a slice of cheese and mixing caviar with sushi rice. There is something I have to sacrifice for this; my leg doesn’t fit with this bar length so my bodies have to lean forward a bit for my arm to rest on it. I try to capture sushi making picture but fail to do so as the master always stop when I try to push the button = =” Is he do it on purpose? = =” NVM. Finally, we have what we waited for long. (Actually not so long la just few min). I have my Sumo takoyaki that come with 6 takoyaki and just ready tamago that you still can see the heat coming out from its top. The sup and chawanmushi served before our main dish. You can try different sauce as they provide 4 sauce that let us play mixed and try hehe. We try all the sauce and feel the sesame sauce is the best served with takoyaki. So, the journey has come to the end and we are expecting the next visit for different dish.
