They said the Japanese makes everything fine and delicate. I somewhat agree to this when it comes to Japanese sweet cuisine. All the way from the taste and flavours to the presentation and effort in decorating each dessert, definitely blow my mind away. And that I am referring to the desserts in the Hokkaido ice cream at the paradigm mall. Being one of the few dessert shops in the paradigm mall, and located at the middle of the walkway in the mall, this dessert booth is more than just eye catching and stands out within the area. With the signature design of a built-in tree all the way right to the ceiling of the mall and creating the illustration of dining under a big tree, this place is lovely for the quick sugar replenish when shopping at the mall, or simply when pampering you with some beautiful desserts after meals. The prices are less than friendly for the desserts but the delicate arrangement does look appealing for those with many interest in pretty looking desserts. With very fine and tiny pieces of items in their menu, I thought the prices were rather expensive. The matcha cheese cake serves in a very tiny scoop of ice cream and very few tiny pieces of cheesecake which tastes really ordinary and nothing very Hokkaido-ish if you ask me. And selling at rm 12.80, this hokkaido ice cream is done in less than 5 minutes even for a slow eater like me. The pear juice sells pretty decently at RM 8 each, but given the rate of oxidation of the fruit, this is a bad choice for fruit juices.
