Redeemed this voucher with a friend of mine, and decide to go together. But due to the T&C, we are not allowed to use both voucher at the same time, even if we sat in separate table. I am totally disagree in this, and try to make my sense with the waiter. In the end, he still with his restaurant policy, and I lost. Had to redeemed the other voucher another time. I ordered Hainanese Chicken Rice as I am curious, how a chicken rice can be so expensive. I din ordered any drinks as I was coughing, and the waiter served me ice cold water. Luckily I got my own water bottle. Hainanese Chicken Rice- a bowl of chicken rice, soup, steamed chicken, 3 type of sauces. The rice is welled cooked, very nice chicken fragrant, served hot. The chicken is very tender, juicy, very smooth, and quite a big portion too. The soup is just so so for me. The sauce are Chilli, Ginger-garlic, and black soy sauce. I like the chilli and ginger-garlic sauce as I think they compliment the chicken very well. Overall, the chicken rice is nice and a bit over-priced. But since the environment is taken into account, it sort of balance it out. Personally I like the surrounding, It is very calm and peaceful. Really is a nice place to chill out after hectic work.
