Most people either love or hate the distinct flavour and texture of the duck meat. I personally prefer goose but duck is fine as you won’t come across goose meat very frequently. Melaka is a great place for a lot of great food. This doesn’t just apply to the famous Melaka delicacy, but most of the food in Melaka in general. Things like duck noodle and duck rice actually taste better than most of the duck noodles or duck rice anywhere else. Mei Wei Xuan is one that sells both duck noodle and duck rice. According to the boss, even the soup is boiled with duck bones and meats. Imagine the amount of calories in one meal…Try not to think of that and work on loosing the calories a bit later. The duck meat was roasted to perfection with the meat still tastily succulent and juicy, with the layer of its skin slightly crispy. Along with the sauce, the sweetness of the duck meat is further enhanced by the sauce. And instead of rice, another option would be the noodles. I like rice better in this case.
